This project is part of a legacy of construction excellence built at a respected Nevada contractor, now carried forward by the Plenium Builders team.
Advancing a Proven Educational Model
Michael Inskeep Elementary School represents the continued evolution of the District’s prototype campus model first developed through the CM-at-Risk delivery of Nick Poulakidas Elementary School and refined with the hard-bid construction of Bohach Elementary School. Each successive project strengthened the design, coordination, and delivery methods that now define the District’s next generation of learning environments.
Applying Lessons Learned for Greater Efficiency
With two successful schools preceding it, this project began with a clear understanding of priorities for constructability, sustainability, and user experience. Systems, materials, and finishes were standardized to improve procurement and long-term maintenance, while site-specific adjustments were made to adapt the design to new topography and infrastructure.
Preconstruction planning emphasized careful sequencing to maintain the fixed academic start date. Familiarity with the building systems and layout allowed the team to streamline submittal reviews and coordinate mechanical and electrical work more efficiently, further reducing field conflicts.
Sustainable, Durable, and Adaptable by Design
The school includes 28 classrooms, three shared “Hub” spaces, and a STEAM lab that encourages project-based learning. Energy-efficient features such as geothermal heating and cooling, daylight-balanced interiors, and drought-tolerant landscaping continue the District’s focus on environmental responsibility and operating efficiency.
A Continuum of Collaboration
Delivered through open competition yet grounded in long-standing collaboration, Michael Inskeep Elementary School reflects the cumulative experience of three projects built on mutual trust among the District, architect, and construction team. The result is a consistent, high-performing model that continues to serve the community and guide future school planning across the region.
