Early Progress on a Distinctive Custom Home
The Sagewinds Residence broke ground in May and is now well into construction. With an overall footprint of approximately 6,000 square feet, including garages and outdoor elements, and 3,900 square feet of interior living space, the residence is designed with performance and precision in mind.
Structural Foundation for Long-Term Quality
The home incorporates insulated concrete walls, structural steel framing at entry and patio gables, manufactured trusses, and a radiant heating system with 13 separate zones. Closed-cell spray foam insulation, along with layered batt assemblies and slab treatments, supports long-term thermal efficiency and comfort.
Craftsmanship in the Details
Interior finishes include clear alder baseboards, slab-style rift sawn white oak cabinetry, and flush panel doors. Multiple fireplace walls will be clad in Rocky Mountain Granite ledgestone, tying into exterior masonry and site features. Cabinetry is scheduled for key locations throughout the home, including the kitchen, butler’s pantry, guest suites, baths, and closets.
Coordinated Systems Integration
Electrical systems include conduit-based wiring throughout, rough-ins for car chargers, and solar readiness. Audio/visual scope, air testing and balancing, and mechanical system coordination were accounted for early in the planning process.
Sitework and Ongoing Construction
Initial work included clearing, excavation, trenching, and septic tank placement. Utility tie-ins and foundation preparation are in progress. The project is scheduled on a two-year construction timeline and continues to advance through careful sequencing and close coordination with owner and consultant teams.
