A Collaborative Space for a Collaborative Team
Nevada’s “Blue Team” thrives on energy, teamwork, and a shared commitment to serving clients across the region. Their existing office had served them for years, but as the team grew, the need for a workspace that matched their collaborative approach became clear. The goal was simple yet ambitious: create a larger, more open, and better-connected space that would bring people together, encourage interaction, and support a high-energy workflow.
Adapting to a Complex Remodel
The existing two-story, 47-year-old metal building had a long history of previous additions, resulting in a patchwork of construction conditions. These complexities required careful investigation and problem-solving during demolition and remodeling. The construction team worked closely with the client to plan each phase of the project in a way that kept the sales department operational.
Staged and Phased for Business Continuity
Because the Blue Team needed to remain fully functional throughout the remodel, staging and phasing were critical. Work areas were sequenced to allow crews to move through the building efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily business. The coordinated approach ensured that customers continued to receive uninterrupted service even as walls were coming down and new spaces were taking shape.
A Modernized Hub for Sales, Service, and Showroom
The updated design connects the sales floor, showroom, and service areas into a cohesive, open concept. This configuration not only improves workflow but also allows natural light from the sales area to reach deep into the private offices. The open-plan arrangement encourages communication between departments and creates a more inviting environment for both staff and visitors.
Details That Support Daily Work
Private offices were fitted with custom millwork and distinctive features such as barn door–style whiteboards and built-in bookcase ladders. In the training room and adjacent conference room, an integrated Crestron audio-visual system supports meetings, demonstrations, and staff development. Several spaces feature LED technology light-up whiteboards that combine functionality with a modern design statement.
Built for the Future
The result is a modern workspace that reflects current industry trends while honoring the Blue Team’s unique identity. As a major supplier to the region’s construction industry, having a facility that showcases innovation and professionalism was key. Now, the team works in an environment that not only supports their collaborative culture but also signals to clients that they are ready for the challenges of the future.
