A Decade of Chocolate-Fueled Collaboration

Long-Term Partnership

Clasen Quality Chocolates' western facility has seen continuous growth for more than a decade. What began as a strategic move into the region has evolved into a long-term partnership with a trusted team of construction professionals supporting their operations through careful planning, responsive service, and detailed execution.

Expanding Footprint

The original office and production building established the foundation, and since then, the footprint has expanded significantly—reflecting the company's evolution in scale and complexity. Over time, the campus has grown to include a melting room, washer rack, refining line expansion, multiple warehousing additions, and most recently, a new 130,000-square-foot warehouse tailored to their specialized distribution and storage needs.

Precision in Execution

Each phase of construction was approached with careful attention to Clasen’s operational goals and privacy standards. While the manufacturing processes remain proprietary, the construction work has involved technical scope including food-grade finishes, elevated equipment platforms, high-performance insulated panels, and extensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing integration. These details required precise coordination and a deep understanding of what it takes to build safely and cleanly within an active production environment.

Refining Line and Interior Upgrades

One of the more involved efforts was the addition of a new refining line and locker room within the existing plant. This required removal and replacement of the slab on grade, new spread footings, and the integration of insulated wall panels and walkable ceilings—all while coordinating tightly with Clasen’s internal operations. The team installed multi-level equipment platforms and built out HVAC, power, controls, and plumbing systems suited to the specialized needs of the space.

Continuity and Trust

The current phase of work builds on the trust developed over multiple projects. The same team members who helped construct the original facility continue to guide construction today, offering continuity, insight, and institutional memory that adds real value. While Clasen stays focused on making chocolate, the construction team quietly keeps their space ready for what’s next.
